I felt unmotivated to because there is no reward for doing so other than the satisfaction of getting 100%.
Even though you have found a way off the island you can still get back on it to collect the rest of the items. It starts of slow but right when it starts getting intense, it's over out of nowhere. You have to figure out alot of things for yourself which can be a turn off if you are impatient like me.but that is a part of the whole adventure. If you cant complete the present goal, you cant move on in the game so I got stuck ALOT. This game was definitely a challenge and I had to look up some cheats. You would get more use out of it if you only played for about an hour a day, but it kept me glued to my DS bc I just wanted to get it done! Alot of the time I was just frustrated that I couldnt find certain things to move on to the next goal. I escaped the island within 24 literal hours which took me a about 5 days. What I did not like about it is, it was rather short. You will get to make your own clothes later on, but those are all made from templates. That's about the most customization you will get throughout the whole game. At the beginning, you decide girl or boy, hair, and an outfit.all with very minimal choices. Out of all the Sims Ds games, this one has the least amount of customization features. If you have never played the Sims on the DS before, you must be warned that it is nothing like the PC 's more of an adventure game. I've played all the Sims games for the DS system and this one was definitely the one with the most adventure to me.
Maybe this trick also works with the parachute, but I have not tried that.This was a pretty decent game. I noticed that the suitcase comes every 10 to 20 times! I spent an hour, getting the 4 items I needed, but now at least I have 100%! So you may need to repeat the steps above a lot of times. The item you get, seems to be given at random by the game. (don't forget to Save!).Ĥ - The item you need isn't there: press the "Start" button on your NDS and select "Quit" and "Yes".ĥ - Select "Load game" and then select the game you previously saved. No Go back to 1.ģ - If the item you need IS there (on the beach, in the crate or in the suitcase.): play on! If you need something else badly, you can go back to 1. Save your game.Ģ - Wake up and walk to the beach (1 click to the right). Here's how I eventually got what I wanted:ġ - First thing: play around until your energy is quite low and go to sleep in your shelter. I played for hours on end, but the suitcase never came (only the crate, or other items like sticks or leafs I didn't need!). OK, I was stuck on 99% and only needed 4 clothing-items (which come with the suitcase, on the place where you stranded the first time).
